Q: What should I bring my first day?

A: Bring workout clothes, tennis shoes, water, and an open mind.  Leave your ego at the door.

Q: What is the difference between CrossFit and a regular gym?

A: CrossFit is designed to be measured, observable fitness to the individual.
CrossFit provides programming that helps firefighters, medics, military, homemakers, etc. through "constantly varied functional movements at high intensity" (Greg Glassman, CrossFit Journal) that will in turn help those in each occupation throughout their daily life skills.  CrossFit is a class setting with a trainer to provide one-on-one coaching to help you along the way.  Last is the accountability.  We will do everything we can to encourage you and to help keep you focused and looking forward to your next class. Childcare:

We offer childcare in the mornings and afternoons.  Please discuss this with the staff because we want to be able to accommodate anyone who has the need.  For safety, CHILDREN (12 and under) are not allowed on the gym floor.  This will also keep those who are working out in the class safe.  This is a mandate from our insurance carrier, as well.
